The first Burrito Express was established in 1995 on Arizona Avenue and Warner roads in Chandler, AZ. Founded by Angel Marin Sr. and based on an innovative idea of proving a mexican food delivery service. At the time there were no Mexican food restaurants in the valley that offered such a service. Angel tested the market by making his food in the kitchen of his home and delivering it to local businesses. After one week, a decision was easily reached by the Marin family; the restaurant business would now be our business.

Today Burrito Express is still the only Mexican food restaurant that delivers in the east valley. Moreover, we offer dine-in, take-out, and catering services. A combination of authentic recipes & competitive prices at a comfortable atmosphere make dining with Burrito Express a unique experience.

Burrito Express now has three locations; the original location was moved to Alma School at Elliot (Chandler), the Burrito Express at Alma School and University (Mesa), was opened in 1999 and the newest location opened in 2006 at Rural and University (Tempe).

Burrito Express is an example of a true family run business. Founder, Angel Marin Sr., is still involved in the operation and oversees all major decisions involving any of the three locations. Angel's four kids, Arizona State University Alumni manage the restaurants and are in charge of all day to day operations. By keeping Burrito Express a family operated restaurant, it ensures each restaurant is properly run, food at each restaurant constant and pride is taken in every aspect of the business.

Furthermore, Burrito Express would like to thank all of our customers over the years. Without the support of the community surrounding each location, Burrito Express would not be the successful operation it is today.
